You’re right on time to start your kitchen garden.

You’re in Kansas, the Heartland, and you’re frustrated because you haven’t started the home garden or kitchen garden you’ve been wanting.

It’s midsummer and you're thinking about all the fruits, veggies, and herbs you wish you grew at home. You’ve been wanting a garden for a while now but each year you get overwhelmed and stuck planning where and how to build a raised bed.

You’re also googling in circles trying to learn what each plant needs, when to plant it, how deep to plant it, how much space it needs, what organic fertilizer you need, how to keep the bad bugs way, and how to make each plant thrive. You’re searching for the easy way to get set-up and going without all the overwhelm.

You can have home grown goodness this fall.

I’m surprised by how many people don’t grow in the fall, it's really easy and the weather is not crazy hot like some summer days, If you start between now and August you can begin to establish your strawberries as you grow and harvest any of your favorite greens, broccoli, carrots and more. You'll be proud as you bring in hyper-local veggies from your own garden to your table.

You’re ready to harvest local organic fruits, veggies, and herbs right from your place with ease, and fall provides the perfect climate to start. You want an attractive, and durable raised bed that will fit beautifully into your suburban neighborhood but produce like a mini farm.

You’re excited to see the plants as they flower, change color, and add that freshly picked flavor to your meals. Most of all you want to share all of your harvest with the people you love so they can be healthy and know where real food comes from.

But every time you try or think about starting, you get stuck thinking...

  • Your plants always died, so you must not be made to grow what you eat.
  • Why it looks so easy online and in books to build a raised bed and grow produce, but somehow you can’t make it work for you.
  • You’re not sure where to start or how to start over so that you can successfully grow the produce you love with the space you have.
  • That you’re wasting money and time by constantly growing produce that fails or does not thrive.
  • You’ll never make growing fresh, chemical-free produce a part of your life and will have to settle to buy them at the store.
